For millennia, humans have used timber for warmth, cooking, tool-making and construction. Today, consumer demand for timber and timber products shows no signs of abating and that’s why we take very seriously our brief to manage the world’s best hardwoods and softwoods in a sustainable way.

The Forest Products Commission is justly proud of its record in native forest management. Our environmental management systems are among the best in the world and externally audited twice yearly against International Standards Organisation (ISO) 14001.

We are proud of our work in native forests and our efforts to ensure this magnificent resource can be used and enjoyed by future generations of Western Australians.
